Ms Julie Manley

Julie has over 23 years experience in Physiotherapy ranging from NHS and private hospitals to elite and grassroots rugby. Manual therapy, Acupuncture and taping are key components of many of her treatment sessions. Julie teaches several Pilates classes and one to one sessions each week in addition to being Director of Phoenix Physiotherapy.

Ms Holly Heathcote

Holly has excellent injury assessment, manual therapy and exercise prescription skills having worked in Rugby union alongside Julie as a student and then as first team head therapist once qualified in 2019. Holly has recently achieved her personal trainer qualification and regularly uses acupuncture.

Dave Cheetham

Dave has over 19years of experience as a chartered physiotherapist, working in both NHS and private hospitals, as well as private practice, ranging from elective orthopaedic surgery and MSK outpatients, to stroke and neuropathy. He has treated clients from low mobility to grassroots and elite sports, including dancers, ranging from spinal injuries to both lower and upper limb conditions, including hands and feet.

Dave takes pride in providing excellent injury and posture assessments and is qualified in using shockwave therapy, acupuncture, hand splinting, and sports taping. He provides these where relevant, along with manual therapy, advice on orthotics and the right exercise prescription, including pilates and core stability, to aim for excellent recovery for patients to return to normal activities.

He enjoys spending time with family and DJing for weddings and parties, likes to keep fit, plays sports, including hockey, for many years, and he has previously competed in Ballroom & Latin American Dancing.

I came to the UK from Ukraine three and a half years ago and worked in social care until I gained my massage therapy qualifications. Massage has always been my passion, and now I’m proud to be part of the Phoenix Physio team, helping people feel better, move more freely, and find moments of calm in their busy lives.

I’m trained in Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy Massage, Oncology Massage, and more. My approach combines professional skills with a warm, caring touch, making every treatment personal and supportive.

Outside of work, I enjoy walking and exploring nature, travelling — especially to Wales — gardening, and discovering new beautiful places. I speak English, Ukrainian, Russian, and Romanian, and I’m currently learning Spanish.
